Scotland 2008

Scotland 2008, originally uploaded by blinked.

Doune Castle near Stirling is one of the most originally preserved medieval castles in Scotland (and location of filming for MP's Holy Grail). Visitors can climb the tower and explore all types of rooms and halls until arriving at the top to a fantastic view of the surroundings. Both the castle, as well as the town Doune with its narrow lanes, homey pubs and country stores are well worth visiting
