The limits of my range are reaching new extremes. My obsession with the burn continues and I'm finding it difficult to concentrate and appreciate anything beyond it. Remember when I was out in the fields waiting for the sunset! I'm not sure what this fixation is about but it's turning into a body of work of which I'm quite proud. The drop in views and comments I confess, slightly concerns me but what the hell. We don't progress if we don't take risks! Many thanks to those who have stuck with me and taken the time to comment on this project/obsession.

Purpose
If your picture has been blogged here, it means that it has appealed to over 300 art jurors (currently 50 active) for a whole week or more. That is an achievement!!!
... and what does that mean ??? well according to This ... it means your picture is "... extremely resistant to people wanting to get rid of it", :)

Always for the first time
I scarcely know you when I see you
You return sometime in the night
to a house at an angle to my window
A wholly imaginary house
From one second to the next
(André Breton)
And it starts... sometime around midnight....
And it starts... sometime around midnight....
And so there's a change...
in my emotions
and all of these memories come rushing
like feral waves to my mind...
So I hold my breath 'till my heart explodes
'Cause this is how it is and this is how it goes
You can steal my body but you can't steal my soul
'Cause this is how it is and this is how it goes

Photography is to Art as Ornithology is to Birds
a pinhole .. . . . . . . .
life's little paradox of blacks and whites
the glow of shadows and the shadow of lights
holding inside a little life
you stay a glow in the dead of life
twinkle twinkle little star
how i wonder what you are...

Like a young fig tree
you were, on the cliffs.
And when I passed by
you rang in the mountains.
Like the young fig tree,
brilliant and blind.
Like a fig tree you are.
Like an ancient fig.
And I pass, and you greet me
with dry leaves and silence.
Like a fig tree you are
that the lightning has aged.
