For any event, there are persons who are indifferent... As if they were straying of the mass of people. What I love them!!! The surfers, the usual walkers of Sunday morning were there although the beach was invaded by the crowd who came to see the departure of Vendée Globe... In background, behind waves, we perceive the masts of boats...
Duomo e Torrazzo
Cremona, Italy (Lombardy): Cremona's famous Cathedral (12th century) and its Campanile (bell tower) Torrazzo seen from the front side. With 112 meter this is the highest Campanile in Italy.

Cimitero delle Porte Sante [reportage all'interno]
.. fu poeta, pittore, e per il resto
come tutti i defunti un uomo onesto.
In questo breve spazio ove sonoro
scende a sera un rintocco di campana
e del sol che tramonta la lontana
luce ha sui marmi dei riflessi d'oro
è tanta pace. L'aria si fa oscura,
si accendon pochi lumi sulle tombe
grige e confuse, e sopra tutto incombe

Joelle taking a few moments rest
I always keep shooting when my models stop for a break. These are very special moments. The facade is removed. The models are not "on". The result appearing far more natural than posed shots.
The Buffalo Head
Buffaloes have been killed on a misty morning on the banks of holy Bagmati river in the outskirts of Kathmandu.
Porters carry the parts of the animals in baskets to the meat merchants of Kathmandu.
Same as in India, also in Nepal cows are considered as holy animals.
There is some irony, when not even racism about the fact that cows are considered holy and buffaloes can be slaughtered.
When asking why you don't slaughter cows I was told:
"Cows are symbols of mother. They give milk. How can you slaughter your mother ?"
Me: "But buffaloes also give milk."
Answer: "But they are black !":-))).
