In all there are 207 steps to the top of the St. Augustine Lighthouse. At each platform there is something interactive to do and a window for viewing. I guess, to keep your mind off the pain in your legs. This area was a focal point of interest on the Sci-Fi t.v. show Ghost Hunters. Weather you believe in ghosts or not, what they catch at the top of the lighthouse looking up the stairs as this photo is now will make your hair stand on end.
